We are very sad to announce that our original and founding Canine Advocate Gryffin has passed away. He was 14 years old, which is really old for a German Shepherd dog. We will miss Gryffin. His largeness, His smile, His thick fur. We will cry – and it is okay to cry and be sad when a good friend dies. You can remember Gryffin by drawing a picture or writing a story of your favorite memory of Gryffin. You can remember how much fun you had together. Although Gryffin is gone and no longer with us we will have the many, many memories of all the good times we had together. And if we remember the good times – Gryffin will always be with us in our thoughts.

Fred Rogers:

Sometimes people get sad.

And they really do feel bad.

But the very same people who are sad sometimes.

Are the very same people who are glad sometimes.

It’s funny, but it’s true.

It’s the same isn’t it for me

Isn’t it the same for you.
