Our Canine Advocates wear a lot of different gear when they are out and about doing their work.
When we are in court, or working with a single client our Canine Advocates will wear their vests. The vest helps other people know that they are trained, working dogs. Our Canine Advocates know that when they have their vests on they will be focusing on one person.

When we are working with groups of people our Canine Advocates will wear their bandanas. Bandanas let the dogs know that they will get to be petted by lots of people!

All our Canine Advocates have protective boots that they wear when the sidewalk is too hot in the summer or to salt-covered in the winter. Both the hot temperature and the salt can hurt their paws, but with their boots on their toes stay safe! They also have raincoats to help keep them dry in the rain. Jewel-Lee has sunglasses because she really light colored eyes and the glasses help protect her eyes from the sun.

Of course, we always keep our Canine Advocates safe by having them on a leash when they are outside.

It’s fun to see the different clothes everyone wears! What kind of outfit would you wear if it was hot outside? What about if it was cold and snowy?
