Our Canine Advocates had a busy week!   The entire week of April 24-28 was National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  Canine Advocates Jewel-Lee and Nelly along with their handlers went to the 5K Walk downtown to raise awareness for Victims’ Rights and the services available.   It was a very nice day for a walk and we made a lot of new friends!

Also this week was the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Child Advocacy Center’s 17th Pittsburgh Conference on Child Maltreatment.   Our Canine Teams had a great time meeting new people, seeing old friends and learning all about the new and innovative ways to help kids!
